Hello my love! I know I'm posting this a few days late, but better late than never right?

Here are some pictures of the way here. The flight was good, I watched 'Eclipse' the vampire movie and it was entertaining, but preeeeetty stupid! There was some turbulence which scared me a bit and a medical emergency on board!!! Not sure what happened, but when we landed we had to wait for the paramedics to come on board for the passenger.

The whole process of coming here (and now being here) is so surreal! It was decided so quickly and it came at such a great time. I really need the rest and being here with my family, the mountains, clean air, and the ocean is amazingly relaxing....I just miss you here with me!!! I wish we could nap together in the niche right now. TE AMO mucho mi churro hermoso :)

An ordinary Wednesday

Hello love! TE AMO mi churro hermoso cosito mio lindo lindo! Como estas amor? Uuuuu big scene tomorrow! The long awaited release! This just popped in my mind: think about what happened to us 4 years ago? Remember how sad I was and how deep the pain was in me? Well, not sure what it was like for you, but you definitely have a point of reference with that kind of loss.

Anyway, don't you think the peach ad is hilarious?? It actually makes me laugh soooo much! jajajajaja I love it! so clever and stupid at the same time.

Do I look tired or what? jajaja my eyes are half way closed! See how full the stockroom is? Wonder why I look so tired! but I only have two more days and bye bye Rudsak :) I'm going to ACTRA tomorrow morning to get my apprentice thing and then two more days and Vancouva'

Ministry of Health - first ACTRA contract!

Hola amor hermoso de mi vida!!! Here are some pictures from my Ministry of Health commercial yesterday. I couldn't take too many and some where very dark, but here you go, enjoy ;)

It was so amazing to see you baby :) Que super sorpresa tan deliciosa! I'm glad you forgot your keys or else you would have given me a heart attack jajajaja! Nooooooo ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! Honestly I would have panicked, or perhaps gone into some weird self defense mode and grabbed a knife or who knows what jajaja

Today was a good day love. Woke up happy because things are finally moving; I hate when things are just the same and nothing changes. Now the river seems to be flowing and we are on a cool boat ;)

Work felt weird, kind of sad actually. Worked there for so long and had so many good laughs that it coming to an end is definitely bitter-sweet. But I'm happy and excited about what's to come :)

I hope your day went well! I really cannot wait to see your work love. I believe in you so much that even if you think it sucks (which is natural since you are a crazy perfectionist genius) I'm sure is amazing! Wow love, I made such a fool of my self at the audition today that I scream when I think about it! jajajaja but I rather go all out and laugh about it than regret holding it all in, so whatever braaaa!

Ok time to sleep and dream with you! I love you! I love seeing you, kissing you...and all the other stuff we do too ;)

Nuit Blanche!

Mi cosito hola!! Last night was Nuit Blanche and Dave and I went on a little adventure around the city in search of the coolest spots! Here is what we found.

It all started at the AGO where we encountered a pair of butch-lesbians with over-sized clitorises standing on a circular mirror and with what appeared to be a uterus hanging on top of them and each had one fallopian tube ...jajaja not sure what to make of that!

Then we walked down Queen St where we went into several art galleries and some of the art in them was amazing! My favorite pieces were these three sculptures, cool ah? By the way the streets were packed! such long line ups and huge crowds; pretty cool.

My most most most favorite thing was what The Institute for the Enjoyment of Music had arranged. It was a long corridor with little rooms and in each room there were one or two musicians improvising music. They could all hear each other via some technological invention jaja, and so they were all creating music together, but physically apart. The instruments were piano, guitar, trumpet, some electronic stuff, and (my most favorite) cello! Oh I want to learn to play the cello! All the musicians were super young and hip and amazingly talented (you could tell they were classically trained) I just didn't want to leave that place. Amazing! I was like a music whore house ;)

After that we went into a random hair salon where we found a model posing while people were drawing her....it was soooo unbelievably hot in there I actually broke a sweat!

Then we continued walking down Queen St and seeing one random thing after the next until we came accross a samba drumming line!! I stayed there for a while just smiling and loving the sound so much. We then went to The Drake which was illuminated with a video game and looked pretty cool.

I was exhausted at that point and so I said adieu to David, turned around and off to home. BUT my night didn't end there. On my way back I heard familiar music in the distance, as I got closer to the source I noticed it was cumbia!! Toto Momposina mixed with techno!! It sounds amazing! It brought tears to my eyes to hear my music so far away from home and then see a bunch of people dancing on the street!! jajajaja Canadians dancing cumbia looked like aerobics mixed with an exorcism! Can you see the video bellow?

Y ya! That was my night. I wished you had been there with me...Every second I felt compelled to call you and just share everything with you!

Corazón de melocotón!!! TE AMO! Today I've missed you more than ever. Everyday I think its impossible to miss you more, but I'm proven wrong. I loved hearing your voice tonight...tenias voz de pechiche amor hermoso lindo mio mio!

So these pictures are from the last two days. The one of me in the mirror is from yesterday while I was getting ready to go to work. I was blow-drying my hair, listening to 'Don't Stop Believing' and trying 80's hairstyles jajaja; this pic is the result of that embarrassing moment. Then last night I was at Shoppers getting my little tunas and by the cash register I saw these Halloween chocolate ghosts, for some reason I felt incredibly sad...not sure if it was because of their smile or because they are just so simple and innocent...Loca?

The other ones are from today at the wardrobe fitting. Me in my princess pink dress (I felt like taking it off like when I was a little girl back in the city from the Amazon jaja). The one in front of the mirror I took at the seamstress where I got the dress adjusted (notice I kept my Fryes on, yeaaah). Her studio is in one of the coolest buildings I've seen! Remember that big brick building on Richmond St close to the Scotiabank Theater? That one! It is amazing inside! There is a huge cage with birds that made such amazing sounds, I stood by it for a long while :) I tried to get a pic for you to see it, but the sun was right behind it so it didn't work. These last pictures are bits and pieces of the building....We must go in when you come back, I'm sure you'd like it!

Can't wait to see you again....wow tomorrow will be a week since you came to visit, how time flies! AND two years since we moved to Toronto my love :) I'm proud of us, we've adapted very well and things are moving in the right direction! Look at you now :)
